11U Boys in Top 10
Basketball Spotlight ranked the Mid-Jersey Mavericks 11U Boys number 9 in the Top 10. According to the site, (View page.)”This group won the Blue Division at the AC Showcase in impressive fashion. Hopefully we will see them again in the fire.” Way to go!
MJM Teams win big in Hunterdon Hoops Tournament
The Mid Jersey Mavericks program (8 teams) had an overall record of 24-8 in the Hunterdon Hoops tournament over the weekend. Congratulations to all players and coaches!

11U Boys win Spotlight Tournament in AC
The Mid-Jersey Mavericks 11U Boys won the prestigious Spotlight Tournament this past week in Atlantic City. They went 5-0! Check out the article and picture here.
Congrats to Coach Ron’s and Coach Joe’s 7th Grade Team
Way to go 7th Grade Boys (Maroon) after winning this past weekend’s AAU tournament at Drew University. The team went 3 and 0 to some good competition!
Spring Hoops Shootout
Good luck 4th and 7th grade Mid-Jersey Mavericks teams in this Saturday’s Spring Hoops Shootout at Montclair State University and Drew University in Madison, NJ.
Congrats 8th Grade boys for winning J&J Championship
The Mid-Jersey Mavs 8th Grade boys team coached by Sean Stolzenthaler went 3 and 0 in this past weekend’s J&J tournament. They won the Championship game 42-37 against the NJ Thunder. This is a tremendous accomplishment especially for a team that has only had a few practices together.
5th Grade boys win big at LaGrand and J&J Classics
Congratulations go out to our 5th grade boys team after winning the Eric LaGrand Classic by Hoop Nation as well as the J&J Classic this past weekend. The team went 3 and 0 in BOTH tournaments! Good job guys.
Mid-Jersey Mavericks Shootout Tournament
The Mid-Jersey Mavericks are hosting a Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Shootout Tournament Saturday, May 19th and Sunday, May 20th. The games will take place at Rider University and Notre Dame High School. All AAU boys and girls teams are invited to participate. These two-day tournaments have a 4 game guarantee with IAABO patch officials. For more information, click here.
